This is a classic ultra-thin-walled flanged bearing, designed with a focus on lightweight construction and compact layout. The 69 series is engineered for applications where the difference between the inner and outer diameters is minimal.
Bearing Features
The inclusion of a flange allows the bearing to be secured within the housing bore without the need for complex fasteners, providing essential support for lightweight designs in devices such as portable electronics, compact printers, and scanners. Its extremely low moment of inertia, combined with the rigidity of the SUS420 material, ensures that the ultra-thin outer ring does not undergo elastic deformation at high speeds, thereby effectively reducing energy loss in low-power drive systems. Despite its high hardness, the SUS420 material exhibits excellent chemical stability in dry or standard laboratory and office environments (with basic rust prevention), maintaining high-precision rotation over the long term without corroding.
