View MoreJiangsu Yinghong Transmission Technology Co., Ltd. is a POM Bearings manufacturer and OEM supplier from China operating under the registered YHU brand. We produce acetal (POM) plain bearings as part of a plastic bearing program that also covers PP, UPE, PEEK, PTFE, PVDF, PA66 and PI, so the polymer is matched to the duty instead of forcing one material into every mechanism. The engineering team combines the experience of Dongguan Yinghong, Linqing Boshuo and Yancheng Jiwei with automated production lines, high-precision testing equipment and a documented quality management system.
POM bearings are specified when a mechanism must run without external lubrication, resist washdown chemicals or operate quietly inside a sealed housing. Typical OEM projects include food processing conveyors, textile machinery, office automation, household appliances, automotive actuators, pumps and valves, semiconductor tools and medical devices. Every YHU quotation is prepared from the working point — load, speed, temperature and assembly conditions — not from a generic stock list.
POM, also called acetal, combines the self-lubricating behavior of an engineering plastic with better dimensional stability than nylon and most other unfilled polymers. In a plain bearing arrangement, a POM bushing running against a hardened steel shaft provides a low coefficient of friction without grease fittings, seals or maintenance schedules. That makes it the first choice for sealed assemblies and for industries where lubricants are prohibited by process or product requirements.
Where the standard grade reaches its limit, we supply modified POM compounds — glass-reinforced, oil-filled or MoS2-filled — and document the resulting PV envelope in the proposal.
POM is specified for a well-defined window: continuous service between roughly -40°C and +100°C, dry or lightly lubricated operation, and environments without strong acids, oxidizing agents or continuous UV exposure. For hot water and alkaline washdown we evaluate POM copolymer; where the duty pushes beyond the POM window, the proposal moves to PEEK, PTFE or PI instead of compromising the bearing design.
This material selection is part of the engineering value we deliver. We do not treat POM as a universal answer. We confirm the operating envelope, the shaft condition and the assembly method, then fix the grade, clearance and wall thickness before production.
Our POM bearing range covers cylindrical bushings, flanged sleeves, thrust washers and custom track or profile configurations. Catalog dimensions are only the starting point. As OEM POM Bearings Suppliers, we machine bore, outside diameter, width, flange geometry, grooves and lubrication pockets to a customer drawing, and we integrate POM plain bearings with rollers, housings or metallic inserts in one assembly.
Because we are also a custom-bearing factory for non-standard products, prototype production and mass delivery run under the same quality system. The part that passes your test is the part we replicate. For assemblies that mix sliding and rolling contact, we often supply a POM sleeve at one support point and Deep Groove Ball Bearings at the other — one drawing review, one supplier, one logistics flow.
The design review starts with a short set of operating inputs, verified against the requested geometry and the production target:
| Design parameter | What we verify | Influence on the bearing |
|---|---|---|
| Operating temperature | Continuous and peak temperature at the bearing seat | Confirms standard POM or directs the project to PEEK, PTFE or PI grades |
| Load and speed (PV value) | Surface pressure and sliding velocity at the contact point | Sets wall thickness, bore clearance and the need for an oil-filled grade |
| Shaft condition | Hardness, surface finish and plating of the shaft journal | Determines running-in behavior and achievable service life |
| Media and washdown | Chemicals, water, steam or detergents in contact with the bearing | Selects POM copolymer or a specially modified formulation |
| Assembly method | Housing bore, press-fit allowance and locating features | Defines outside diameter tolerance, flange design and retention |
POM bearings are produced on automated lines with in-process dimensional checks and final inspection on high-precision measuring equipment. The company holds IATF 16949, RoHS, CE and SGS certifications and operates as a National High-Tech Enterprise with multiple invention and utility model patents. That certification base supports OEM programs in automotive, food, medical and semiconductor supply chains where component traceability and conformance documentation are part of the order.
POM bearings are normally press-fit into a machined housing bore for retention; the running clearance is then controlled by the shaft finish and the selected bore tolerance. We state both values in the proposal. Because the bearing is self-lubricating, routine maintenance is limited to inspection, and the shaft journal remains the main influence on wear — our drawing notes the recommended hardness and finish.
The wider program is organized under Products, where standard and non-standard bearing families are described with their application fit. We support customers from solution design and prototype production to mass delivery and after-sales technical support.
For a POM bearing quotation with correct grade and tolerances, send us the following:
A POM bearing is a plain bearing machined from polyoxymethylene (acetal) engineering plastic. It provides a low-friction, self-lubricating sliding surface against a shaft and is selected instead of a greased bushing or rolling bearing where maintenance access is difficult or lubricant contamination is unacceptable.
Yes. POM has inherent dry-running properties, which is why it is used in sealed and food-contact assemblies. For higher PV conditions we evaluate oil-filled or MoS2-modified grades and confirm the shaft finish and clearance during the design review.
Yes. Customization covers bore, outside diameter, width, flange design, grooves, lubrication pockets and modified compounds. We move from solution design to prototype production and mass delivery under the same quality system.
For continuous service, the practical window is roughly -40°C to +100°C. Above that range we specify PEEK, PTFE or PI so the bearing keeps its mechanical properties in the actual duty.
POM bearings run best on hard, ground or polished steel journals. The proposal states the recommended hardness and surface finish for your speed and load, so the housing and shaft drawings stay consistent with the bearing design.
Send the dimensions or drawing, the operating load and speed, shaft material and finish, temperature and media conditions, target quantity and any compliance requirements. With that information we prepare the grade selection, tolerance schedule and quotation in one step.
Our portfolio also includes Bearing Steel Bearings for applications with different operating ranges, interfaces or integration requirements.
