View MoreJiangsu Yinghong Transmission Technology Co., Ltd. supplies SUS316 thrust ball bearings under the YHU brand. As a SUS316 Thrust Ball Bearings manufacturer, we design and build miniature thrust bearings for axial-load positions where washdown, marine, chemical or food-processing conditions demand corrosion resistance, clean operation and stable geometry. Our Wholesale SUS316 Thrust Ball Bearings Factory is located in Jiangsu, China, and uses automated production lines and high-precision inspection equipment to support projects from material selection through prototype, serial production and after-sales service.
The YHU range is not limited to catalog parts. Our engineers develop both standard and non-standard stainless steel thrust bearings, adjusting raceway geometry, ball complement, cage material and lubrication to suit the duty data of the customer's equipment.
Thrust ball bearings accept axial load in one direction and are used where a shaft must be located or restrained axially within a compact envelope. The SUS316 version is specified when the bearing will be exposed to humidity, salt water, washdown chemicals or process fluids. Typical positions include pump shafts, valve actuators, dosing equipment, marine winches, food-processing conveyors, textile machinery, packaging lines, instrumentation and semiconductor wet-process tools.
If the same position must also carry radial load, a thrust bearing alone is not sufficient; our SUS316 Stainless Steel Bearings are the better starting point for combined radial and axial load in corrosive environments.
Within the stainless steel miniature thrust ball bearing family, we offer several material directions. Selection depends on operating environment, load cycle, hardness requirement and whether non-magnetic behavior or chemical resistance dominates.
| Material option | Key characteristics | Typical fit |
|---|---|---|
| SUS316 thrust ball bearings | Molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless; improved resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride and acidic media | Food processing, marine equipment, chemical dosing, washdown, medical and wet-process positions |
| SUS304 thrust ball bearings | General-purpose austenitic stainless; economic corrosion resistance for humid or lightly corrosive exposure | Instruments, household appliances, light industrial shafts and general automation |
| SUS420 thrust ball bearings | Martensitic stainless; hardenable with higher surface hardness | Wear-sensitive positions where corrosion exposure is less severe |
| SUS440 thrust ball bearings | High-carbon martensitic stainless; high hardness and good wear resistance | Instrument spindles and precision mechanisms requiring long wear life |
| Special stainless steel thrust bearings | Alloy and heat-treatment selection for specific chemical, thermal or magnetic requirements | Custom projects and application-specific non-standard bearings |
SUS316 is the JIS designation for a chromium-nickel-molybdenum austenitic stainless steel equivalent to 316 / 1.4401. Its molybdenum content gives it a substantial advantage over SUS304 in chlorides, dilute acids and repeated washdown. For a thrust ball bearing, material choice must be combined with correct raceway geometry, ball size and cage selection, because corrosion resistance alone does not determine load capacity or running behavior.
We configure each SUS316 thrust bearing around the assembly requirement rather than forcing a catalog size. Custom bore and outside diameter, special height, modified ball complement, alternative cage materials and controlled axial play are all within our production scope. When the bearing is part of a pump, actuator, robot joint or instrument, we supply dimensional and inspection data that allow the customer's assembly line to press, clamp and measure end-play repeatably.
For automated integration, the important values are height tolerance, parallelism, axial play and cleanliness. We document these values on the inspection sheet so the receiving inspection and the automated assembly station use the same criteria.
YHU operates as a group-based enterprise in Jiangsu, China, with automated production lines and high-precision testing equipment. Our factory covers bearing steel, stainless steel, ceramic and plastic bearing production, so a thrust bearing project can be supported by the same material and process knowledge as the rest of your equipment.
We work from drawings, samples or target performance data. The project path covers engineering review, prototype production, serial supply and after-sales technical support, with quick response for personalized and differentiated requirements.
Our closed-loop quality system covers raw material, production processes and final inspection. As a National High-Tech Enterprise, YHU holds multiple invention and utility model patents and has obtained internationally recognized certifications including IATF 16949, RoHS, CE and SGS test reports. For SUS316 thrust bearings, final inspection verifies main dimensions, washer parallelism, runout, surface quality, sound/vibration behavior and axial play.
Material traceability and test documentation can be included with the delivery, so the bearing batch is fully visible from incoming stainless steel to finished assembly.
Thrust ball bearings support axial load in one direction only. The mounting faces must be square to the shaft axis and supported over the full washer circumference to avoid cocking and uneven load. When the adjacent component is softer than the bearing washer, use a hardened thrust washer or a properly machined shaft shoulder. Press or clamp the bearing evenly, apply the specified lubricant and avoid transmitting impact loads through the rolling elements.
For reversing axial loads, two thrust bearings or a combined radial/axial arrangement is normally required. If your equipment has combined loading, our Deep Groove Ball Bearings range covers that duty in a single component.
To prepare a configuration and quotation that matches your application, please provide the following:
SUS316 contains molybdenum, which improves resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride, acidic and washdown environments. SUS304 is suitable for less severe moisture exposure. When the equipment is washed down, used near salt water or exposed to process chemicals, we normally recommend SUS316.
Yes. We develop custom non-standard bearings from drawings, samples or dimensional targets. Bore, outside diameter, height, ball size, ball count, cage material, lubrication and axial play can all be adjusted to fit the assembled position.
No. Thrust ball bearings are designed for axial load in one direction. If the application combines axial and radial loads, a deep groove ball bearing or a combination arrangement is normally used; our Deep Groove Ball Bearings are the right starting point for that condition.
We can provide material certification, inspection and test data, SGS test reports and RoHS information. The quality system is certified to IATF 16949, and our inspection records cover the dimensional and performance checks performed on the batch.
The most useful inputs are shaft and housing diameters, axial height, axial load, speed, temperature, environment, required life, lubricant preference and quantity. A drawing or sample is sufficient for non-standard dimensions.
Support the washers over their full circumference, keep the mounting faces square to the shaft axis and apply the axial load through a hardened surface. Press or clamp evenly, use the specified lubricant and avoid impact loading during assembly.
Our portfolio also includes Products for applications with different operating ranges, interfaces or integration requirements.
